Andrew and Mary had never dared to believe in love. But then they met each other. Life had been full of sorrow, abuse and homelessness were given a sentence. A film about a wedding and to regain hope through love.

Anders and Maria have just found an apartment for the first time in 30 years and now they get married. Director Tora Marten describes the film as a tribute to love.

The movie wants Tora Marten's challenge worn images and ideas of a group of people that we very often condemns. Maria and Anders have lived hard lives with alcoholism, homelessness and abuse, but this day is in contrast to the. Maybe it will be the happiest day of their lives, där människor för en gång skull samlas kring dem. Både fotografier och filmer har ju förmågan att förmedla saker som är svårt att beskriva med ord.

- Pictures speak in silence. The moment when they promise each other eternal fidelity is an image that will forever touch me. It is so true, with no manners, Tora says Marten.
